Renowned gallery White Cube Hong Kong has collected works by its representative artists in a two-part project entitled “Encounters,” featuring the works of Antony Gormley, Sarah Morris, Eddie Peake and more.

The project aims to generate new dialogues between a range of artwork, calling forth new perspectives and understanding. Like mentioned, the two-part exhibition kicks off with the first part, presenting works by Antony Gormley and Anselm Keifer—Gormley’s sculptures which investigate the relationship of the human body to space are paired with Kiefer’s raw paintings—and both attest to a shared struggle: what it means to be human. The second part is done in collaboration with the K11 Art Foundation and explores the encounter between culture and materials.
